On the occasion of the opening of the new Crédit Municipal de Strasbourg sports hall, we had the pleasure of designing and creating a monumental contemporary mural, designed as a sensitive immersion in the world of movement, the body and well-being.
Dressing the wall of the gym
Much more than a setting, this artistic creation transforms the sports space into a place of experience, where each user is invited to reconnect with his or her energy, breath and personal dynamics.
This custom-made fresco accompanies sports practices — yoga, running, weight training, mobility — while translating the brand’s values with subtlety, elegance and depth.
The starting point of this creation is movement.
Not only the sporting gesture, but movement in the broad sense:
that of the body, breathing, balance, repetition, effort and letting go.
The fresco features:
The lines are never fixed.
They undulate, stretch, intersect, creating a permanent, almost musical vibration.
The whole gives the feeling that the wall is breathing, that it accompanies the rhythm of the effort and the concentration of each practitioner.
The aim was not to represent the sport in a descriptive or illustrative way, but to convey a sensation.
An inner energy, a bodily emotion, a state of flow.

This sensitive approach allows everyone to appropriate the fresco according to their own experience:
a yoga practitioner will see calmness and alignment,
a runner will read speed and endurance,
A bodybuilding enthusiast will feel the tension and concentration.
The chromatic palette plays an essential role in the identity of this fresco.
We chose to work around shades of blue, a color associated with confidence, depth, stability and breathing.
This blue is punctuated with gold threads, applied delicately, almost like luminous lines.
They mention:
Gold is never ostentatious.
It acts as an inner light, a subtle vibration that accompanies the gaze and reveals certain details depending on the angle and the light.
This fresco was designed to be fully in line with the identity of the Crédit Municipal de Strasbourg.
Without logos or explicit messages, it visually translates fundamental values:
The work does not impose itself, it accompanies.
It creates an inspiring, soothing and stimulating environment at the same time, in line with the quality of life at work approach carried out by the institution.
One of the particularities of this fresco lies in its richness of reading.
There are nearly 250 graphic details, scattered throughout the composition:
These details are not all revealed at a glance.
They invite a daily rediscovery of the work, over the course of the sessions, efforts and moments of pause.
Thus, the fresco evolves with the users:
it is never fixed, it accompanies regularity, progression and return.
The scale of the work has been carefully studied to adapt to the practice of sport.
The proportions, lines and contrasts allow for a fluid reading:
The wall becomes a silent partner, a visual cue that supports the effort without distracting, that stimulates without saturating.
Like each of our creations, this fresco has been entirely designed and painted by hand.
The deliberately lively line, never mechanical, brings:

With this monumental fresco, the new sports hall of the Crédit Municipal de Strasbourg becomes much more than a training space.
It is transformed into a place of sensory experience, where body, mind and space dialogue.
This creation accompanies movement, values effort, soothes the mind and invites regularity.
She embodies a balanced, elegant and profoundly human vision of sport.
A wall that vibrates.
